Re: Gibbs Lubricant

used it today to clean rusted fuse block. Put some on, hit it with a brush and it was fine. So far so good. Thank Wolf

Re: Gibbs Lubricant

Glad to hear it Boise. I was able to remove every last fastener from the front clip of my 68 that had never been apart. There was rust through at both rear corners of the fenders and at the front pillars. Every fastener came loose. Worked real well when the door hinge bolts started to squeak and squal . The door lock mechanism and window regulator screws were also no sweat.
I have an old Willys Jeep that I am continualy painting over the reddish brown rust on the leaf springs with black paint and eventualy they look like the rust is everywhere all over again. The same thing on the tow bar and front bumper and safety chains. ( I use the Jeep as intended so paint doesn't last very long on the heavy metal parts) I finaly looked at it last summer, got the Gibbs can out and sprayed down the springs, bumper and tow bar and left it wet. The Jeep sets by the garage and the road out front is dirt. The dust rolls in the summer time and I thought this is the test for the "will not collect dust" claim. Even though the body and top were dusted thouroughly and got more on a daily basis, the parts sprayed down with Gibbs had dried, were not sticky, turned the rust an exceptable chassis black color, and it did NOT collect any dust.

Good stuff.

I would like to put this up somehow as a vendor on the board....................but I need Josh to okay that and let me know how to do that so it would be acceptable.

Re: Gibbs Lubricant

Thanks, Hugger I will do this tonight. My message feature is blocked I assume by Josh, I also got an infraction for trolling this thread. I need some of this stuff resolved. Also, how long am I red flagged?? I have been around this board for some time now and got hit hard on this. Actualy gave it some hard thoughts about being gone.
There were no terms of punishment issued and I do not know where I stand here.
please resolve.

Re: Gibbs Lubricant

I think with everything that Josh did to me, I realy have had enough. I spent a lot of time and money on this for the board members and it blew up in my face. Not once did Josh get in touch with me before shutting it all down. He says I am not a supporter of any kind, but I have posted well over a 1000 times with what I felt was information, of some use to someone.
I posted on this thread that I even hoped that I was not crossing the line, way back in the threads, and nothing was ever said.

I think this is more of a personal problem at this point.

I do understand how you feel, and nobody likes being treated like a criminal, but what you did was against the rules, even if you didn't realize it, and you got caught. There have been many people get their hand slapped for the same thing, and get mad, but most of the time it all boils down to not reading the rules. We don't want anyone to get mad and leave, but rules must be enforced, and this board IS owned by Josh, so he can run it however he sees fit. Trust me, let it go. Nobody holds anything against you.

Why won't Josh be a man and face this issue?

Re: Gibbs Lubricant

What are the parameters of his punishment? If I am supposed to obey rules that I should read, where are the guidlines from |Josh as far as what he has done to me???? In a court of law, you recieve a sentence or fine or what have you, here it is just whatever he wants it to be. Sorry, I don't need this.
