2007 Silverado (classic)

Hello folks, hope everyon had a good Christmas.
I bought my son a 2007 Silverado (Classic) a few weeks ago. Real happy so far, but yesterday when we were giving her a bath I noticed that the tail light lens where it screws to the bed is broke (both locations). It is broke such that it will fall out. I had to break out the good ole duct tape to get it to stay in.
I have heard from a few people that this is a known problem with these trucks. I searched for TSB's but didn't find any. Any help would be great.

I know of about 4 others with the same problem.

Make it 5 others that you know of. I found the light on my 06 CC broken in the same way. I just assumed that some punk was trying to steal them to give an older truck an upgrade. I used clear tape to hold mine on till I can repair it or take it back to the dealer.

This is the first I've heard of this on any 99-2007 pickup. Have the dealership replace the lamps under warranty

Hmm.. Ditto here. A nice red one. Maybe pop-up taillights is a new feature? Let me look at that owners manual again......
