Barke Part interchange??
Have an 84 with 10 bolt axles. Have found a set of axles with 3:73 gears that I want, they are out of a 77 model. Pretty sure they will fit, but I have just rebuilt all my brake system. Will the rotors and rear setups swap between years like this?? No one seems to know. Both sets are half-ton.

Going by one web site I use looks like all the front stuff will swap over. On the rear if you have 11"x2" brakes all will be ok...

The front hub/rotor assembly will go right on the older axle. The calipers can stay on the truck. Rear, I have no idea. Worst case you have to buy pads/drums for the '77 rear.
