New around here,sorta

Hi guys I'm kinda new here..I was on here a few years back, when I had a 72 chevy c10..That truck is gone and I've bought and started a new project..Now my extra money is going into a 50 chevy 1/2 ton swb street rod project, that I've had a love/hate relationship with for about 3 years.I have had it subframed with a 79 camaro stub,it has a disc brake posi rear out of a mid 80's t/a,and i am going to run a goodwrench 350 4 bolt main/700r4(rebuilt with corvette servo, shift kit,and rewired lock up)..Tilt column with no key switch out of a chevy van..power brake booster/master cyl.,out of same 4wdb t/a. I got a heck of a deal on new bedsides/front bed panel/and running boards,so that will save me time on that ..Right now I am focussing on rust repair on the cab, that i thought was in decent shape, boy was i wrong!!!I am in the process of installing new front floor pans,inner/outer cowl panels, and floor supports..Then i will replace the cab corners..That should keep me scratching my head for a while, then I can get on to the good stuff..I will try to post some pics of the truck..Thanks,I look forward to reading the new posts, and checking out all of your current projects..

Welcome back!
Sounds like you've got a good start. I'm still trying to sort out the running gear on mine.
