Help with paint job

I am trying to decide what color to paint my 86 Silverado. It is currently Brown and Beige with the Beige interior. I am keeping the Beige interior. I am stuck between two toning it or one solid color. I'm leaning toward one solid color my wife suggested Emarld green but don't know yet.
Any help would be great here is a pic of my baby

Re: Help with paint job

Make it all brown. You would have less work doing that. But you have to live with it..

I would do it in original colors because you dont see them everyday but with the tan interior ....White , Red , All tan , or all brown . Frank

Re: Help with paint job

keep the stock pattern amybe mix up the colors but keep it two tone!

Also if you want to go with a solid green i suggest black jade metalic that is used on mercadies benz. IT looks black but in the sun you get a nice dark metalic green shine.

Re: Help with paint job

I see them rather often around my way. In fact, theres a 86 GMC for sale at the local exxon for $2500. There is another one of the same color scheme up the street from me. My old 84lwb was gold and tan two tone. I always liked the gold color that chevy has. If you wash them regularly they never look dirty. I also like the late model pewter color that GM uses. I say either gold or pewter. I own a solid brown truck. It looks dull with out any trim. I'm thinking of going gold when it gets painted. Brown shows up dirty instantly. You can get alot of ideas from looking at various trucks on Ebay.
