'70 Short 4x4 stepside- "basket : Whats it worth in your part of the country?
Ive got a 70 "basket case" short / step (no tire cut) 4x4 that is almost rust-free. It originally came from AZ. I bought it from a kid 3 or 4 years ago who tore it ALL apart and got in over his head. It is an AC cab. There is no engine/trany.
Im not sure what I want to do with it. I actually want to find the same in a 67. Does anyone have an idea what something like that is worth in your part of the country? / OR.... know of a 67 4x4 short step? (prefer unrestored) Thanks

I'VE GOT AN IDEA!!!
Hey GMC PAUL, Just find me a 67 Chevy short 4x4 with factory AC in the same shape and we could "trade" . LOL I have thought about "cloning" this into a 67 , but thought if I can find an original 67 , I would be happier!
Ive got lots of time before I get to the 67, as Im finishing a 70 Chevelle SS 454 ragtop right now , next is a 37 Chevy coupe - "to be street rod" ,THEN I want to start on a 67. Oh , also helping my son build a 50 Chevy coupe "gasser" .

Here in Pa, we don't call rust free trucks "basket cases".
Sorry, no idea on value.

If its rust free its worth more that $500-600 in this area even if it doesn't have a motor or tranny. I'd say $1000-1500. You don't find them around here. Good luck
