How many guys running Valvoline?

I have been running Valvoline in all of my vehicles. My mechanic swore by it.

ive been running valvoline 20/50 racing oil in my truck but right now im running halvoline 20/50 in it and i dont notice a difference but ill probly go back to the valvoline after i use all the halvoline (got a 12quart box from a drawing at the local race track)

I used penzoil in my first chevy. After 10,000 miles on a rebuild, I had to rebuild the engine. (Not saying this was this cause!)
My old man told me to try valvoline and I'll never use anything else.
Never have any engine trouble.

I run valvoline too. Ive heard bad things about penzoil too. Dad had bad luck with it.

My Cherokee gets Royal Purple 5w30...

My BBC in my K5 gets Rotella 15w40 in the summer and Valvoline 10w30 in the Winter, but I will be switching to Royal Purple 10w30 this summer

The 327 for my 71 will get Royal Purple 15w40...

just what i keep hearing but penzoil is the worst oil to use it leaves alot of sludge more than any of the others but however my buddies dad has been running penzoil in his truck for i dont know how long he had a little toyota 4banger truck for over 20 years the whole time on penzoil and now he has a toyota tundra v6 i dont remember the year and he runs penzoil in that to and my brother inlaws dad ran penzoil in 95nissan truck v6 with over 240,000 on penzoil and he gave it to my bro inlaw and he still runs in on penzoil even tho i tell him not to when he asks me but yet still runs it but anyway it still runs good so i dont know but i just felt like sharing but ill NEVER use the stuff

I used to use Quaker State in my wifes Honda untill we had to replace the cam at 60,000 miles.I have seen a couple posts the Valvoline makes NAPA brand oil,the question I have is do they make it to Valvoline or NAPA specs?

Valvoline 5w30- both the vans
Mystick 15w50 synthetic blend- green and white

A note on the Mystick oil they just switched to synthetic blend from straight pertrolem oil. And let me tell you the difference is night and day! The engine has more power and less oil burn. I switched from straight to the blend cause they stop making the straight in the mystick line, from what I can tell, Before that I ran either valvoline 50w racing oil or kendall 50w oil. I liked the valvoline better than the kendall. I will peobably be switching the vans to the mystick when the valvoline runs out. Just my thoughts.

I am not knocking Valvoline oil. I think it is good oil. But surprised to not see other brands. Looks really lop-sided.
I use Havoline 10-40 in my 69 since forever. Pulled the pan & valve covers the past summer no sludge what so ever. Of course 1500-2500 mile filter change I wouldn't expect any. Quaker State oil for a period of time several years ago (MID 80's) was not recommended & they refused oil related problems @ Honda. At least then, that was what I was told by the service manager.

I use royal purple in all my vehicles, can't say enough good about it.

I use Valvoline semi synthetic in my wifes car. And change the oil every month. She drives 2400 miles a month. With 140,000 miles the oil looks mostly clean when i drop it.

In my other trucks i use Valvoline 10/30

I've run Valvoline 10-30 in my new engine, ran 10-40 in the old engine. Only thing was I had to reseat my rings after about 2000 miles (engine braked). Coworker told me it was due to oil. I say I was driving too hard, oops.

Run Mobil 1 Synthetic in the Cobalt. (Good enough for the Corvette good enough for my 4 banger). I want that car to live forever. Seriously, it will live forever, or I'm screwed.
