it is possible that you do have avirus/worm on your computer and not know it. But a lot of these e mails are putting e mail address of other peoples e mail address as the sender, so when it gets sent back it is actually not going to the person who's computer is infected. For example, your computer has my email address in its cache from looking at my web page, your infected computer uses your e mail to send out an e mail with my address as the sender. When the computer down the line gets that e mail, it will return it to the email address that is in the senders line, which would be mine. Even thought it came from you. I suggest everyone runs that scan that I listed the link above.

68 Suburban is correct the virus could appear to be sent from any email add it can obtain from the computer. My computer was infected today with WORM_KLEZ.H and I know some emails were sent out without my knowledge. Bad thing about this one is you don't need to open the attachment for it to execute. Here is a link for more info on the virus www.antivirus.com/pc-cillin/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_KLEZ.H
I sure hope I didn't infect anyones computer on the board.
