Quick test that shouldn't cost you much...
Find a local repair shop that has a 4 gas analyzer. Have them check the coolant recovery tank for HydroCarbons. If you have any type of cylinder head/gasket/block problem I can tell you without a doubt! this will find it. We've been using this method for well over 3 years and have yet to see a car slip through this test. There have always been tests called "block test" using a chemical that changes when HC's hit it, it turns from blue to yellow if HC"s are detected. But its not accurate! and will not show on mild cases. Make sure they are using a analizer, this will show the parts per million (PPM) of Hydro Carbons present.
A normal reading will be 0 but could be as high as 10ppm. Depending on how many ppm's are getting into the system it could go as high as 2000ppm but thats very rare (rare that it actually still runs lol).
Also, are you having the system pressure checked? There are different types of leaks that dont always show up just by looking things over. Of course double check all hose clamps, look at the top core of the radiator too. Pin holes at the top of the radiator will allow coolant to vaporize and become untraceable.
