Fuel Cell Clarification

ok I just want to make sure I'm planning this out right. I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible, but also keeping in my mind that I want it to last for another 50 years and I want it to be safe...

I'm looking at Summit's fuel cell with 2" sump. Measuring 25X17X9. Holding 16 Gallons, and having a sender unit of 0-90 ohms.

Then I have a 1970 Chevy 350 that i have to get the fuel to. So I was going to buy sumiits kit, that includes the fittings, fuel pump, fuel filter, and lines.

Does this sound right?

I have a similar setup on mine. Mount the filter between the tank and pump below the line level. and mount the pump on the frame close to the tank. run the line up and mount the regulator as close to the carb as possible.

That size tank fits in nicely between the frame rails. How are you going to fill it, thru the bed? This is how I did mine. Had to move the rear cross member back about 4.5" I think to clear the box cross member for the fuel filler. Then I used a billet filler door from a pickup to access it.
