Re: aluminum heads

A buddy of mine who's a machinest/race car builder told me they're not bad.
I was looking at those myself before I bought my heads.

Re: aluminum heads

I just called them and asked if they were MADE IN USA and he(?) said yes. Then I asked if they were cast overseas then machined here or what. And his reply was I think that is whats done. They're not AMERICAN steel/alloy.But they are supposed to be made in ALABAMA........?

Re: aluminum heads

fun fact of the day: the US is 4th in world primary aluminum production. we sit behind china, russia, and canada

but i do agree with desire to have american castings and american made products if practical

Re: aluminum heads

Speedway motors sells heads that are based on the same pro-action model as does many other. I'm not familar with this company, They seem to make a good sale and their prices seem good also. Just not sure how they stand behind there product, I'd check into that. here's a link to speedway motors they have alot of things that may intrest you Including alot of helpful charts and tip when you search different parts.
