fitting on Edelbrock 1406

Well, I'm piecing my truck back together. My carb is dialed in, but the fitting on the back of the carb is halfa@#ed. Does anyone know what size fitting works on the back side of an Edelbrock 1406 carb, currently setup for a connection to the tranny? Its currently just kinda wedged in there, came loose one day and my 400 wouldn't shift.

Thanks

Re: fitting on Edelbrock 1406

That's gotta be a 350 tranny if it's running off of vacuum isn't it? I don't know what size it is for sure, but that's where my power brakes hook up. The tranny can also be ran off the manifold vacuum, but of course you'll need a fitting for that also. Probably the same one needed for the carb..

They usually sell those vacuum line fittings at the auto parts store in the section that has all the chrome dress up goodies. It would be the correct size to screw into the back of the carb.
