I replaced my pump a while back. It wasn't difficult, but it took longer than I expected because you have to swap all of the fittings off the back of the old pump to the new one.

Also, the pulley is pressed on. I bought a cheap puller from harbor freight to do the pulley because mine was bent. I needed one to take to a junkyard. Your auto parts store might loan them out, but mine didn't (or the idiots that worked there didn't know what I was talking about, like usual...).

I don't know anything about the box. Mine was replaced by the PO right before I bought it.
