62 3/16 is the width of my 68 6 bolt rearend. This is measured from wheel mounting surface with drums on

The 70 trucks could have two different rear axles in them, one is like the 71-72 widths which is 57 1/2" between the backing plates. The other is like the 67-69 width which is 56" between the backing plates.

my 68 is 32" from frame center to center hole... not sure what you needed measured.
