Comments on old air kit.

I recently purchased an Old Air kit and I am disappointed to see my compressor is made in China. Everything looks really good, well packaged and a nice kit.

Does the Vintage air everybody seems to have contain a China compressor as well.

I purchased old air because every board vendor i checked with sells the old air brand and I always try to use board vendors.

Re: Comments on old air kit.

My vintage air kit came with a sanden compressor made in USA, installed in 2000, now leaking oil at front seal with 25000mi. and sitting in heated garage for 8 months,(lost cam big time in 454). I was'nt thrilled with compressor mounting brackets set to have bolts touching the back of power steering res. I was able to change it around but recirculate only system isn't fun in the winter. I get 34deg air in summer though with r-134, but like factory system better. I hope old air is quieter than vintage.
