What Booster is this?
Hopefully I'm not doing wrong,I have posted a recent topic on a brake conversion but havent had too much luck figuring out what I'm doing wrong. So here it goes. The pics are of my 69 C20 booster and m/c.The truck has power drum brakes. I am wanting to use this booster and brackets with a disc brake m/c to convert my 69 C10 to 5 lug disc brakes. I have looked at the 3/4 m/c for 71-72 but they wont work with this booster. Please HELP and let me know what I need,Thank You very much.

Re: What Booster is this?
That master cylinder looks like a 1/2 ton version to me. The 3/4 ton ones I have seen are a lot larger from most of the pics I have seen. Well here is a bump for you anyway.

Re: What Booster is this?
The master cylinder looks like a manual instead of power. There should be two different sized resivoirs front is smaller than the rear.

Re: What Booster is this?
The trucks used the exact same master cylinder for power, and for manual brakes. most automotive aplications had seperate units for power and manual, but not these trucks.

Re: What Booster is this?
Well according to the Wagner and Bendix books at work they both list a MANUAL and POWER version differences in bore sizes and depth of the pushrod..

Re: What Booster is this?
might be a misprint... I've spoken to 4 parts stores, NAPA being one of them, and they all had (both in the computer and in the books) same P/N for power and manual.

Re: What Booster is this?
Just called NAPA and Star and Kragens and Autozone and that number is for the shallow pushrod,I need the deep pushrod style. I am starting to lean towards using my 84 suburban stuff. Thanks to all for the replies.
