Finally got them on!!!(Update)

Well after a few months of saying I was going to get them,I finally got'em and put them on today.Hedman Elite's #69648 Shorty. Thanks to eveyone that has posted pics, and part #. So far I really like them,I have only ran them for about 20 mins. I have rigged up some flex pipe to get me to the muffler shop one day this week!!! Ill post some more pics when I getter done I know the valve covers need cleaned! (In time)

These headers will let me hide the rest of my exhaust, not like what I have today,(A little low)

Re: Finally got them on!!!

They are purdy all right. I agree with the tucked up exhaust system. Looks much better than long tubes hanging down below frame and exhaust pipes too. I like em tucked up in the frame myself. My temporary muffler arrangement is long tubes with flows welded to the collector adapter. Just enough muffin to run it in my shop ya know. I will be cleaning up my rams horns and using them however when the time comes to finish the pipes.

Re: Finally got them on!!!

They look great. Any plugs hard to get to?. Any problems routing the brake lines off the master cylinder?. They look tight in the pic.

Re: Finally got them on!!!

You'll dig those headers. I've had mine for almost 3 years now with no problems. I also went with the 3/4 length so you couldn't see exhaust hanging down.

Re: Finally got them on!!!(Update)

Well, after several days of looking for a person to do my exhaust,my brother-n-law found someone locally that does custom exhaust. He took his truck up threre first,(All ways good to have someone else go first in some things)and I was impressed with his exhaust! So the next day asa(seeten) and me took mine up there. Thanks to asa taking his truck,I way able to show a few things that asa's exhaust man did that was very neat and would help in other applications of future items(fuel tank relocation).Had to wait two days but it was worth it,I was very please with the work and how it came out!!!!!I'm not rusty any more I had 2 1/2 ran from the headers out the back with 2 chambers mufflers and a cross over pipe, made a very big improvement, got to love that sound!!

Re: Finally got them on!!!

Looks great!. Do you think there would be any heat issues near the speedo cable or does the pic make it look closer than it really is?
