Re: stepside to fleetside
Should need the beds, the crossmembers and the wiring harness for the taillights.

Re: stepside to fleetside
There are several guys on the board who have. If you would like I'll move this to the 67-72 board, you'll get more answers there than here I think.

Re: stepside to fleetside
I am trying to assemble a Fleet bed from scratch and here is what I plan on buying.
Bedsides - $900 Front Bed Panel - $125 Rear xmem for wood floor - $150 Smaller xmems for wood support - $150 Tailgate - $200 (plus who knows how much for the hardware) Wood Bed with polished strips - $450 Tail lights and harness - $75 Bumper - $125 Wheelwells - $100 Grand total = $2275 Keep in mind that is for brand new parts all around. There are fellas like John@thePier that have some good original bedsides for sale and you can always hit the junkyard for the xmems and recondition them. Its a pricey endeavor. If your steppers are in good enough shape to resell then that may offset the cost a little.

Re: stepside to fleetside
If your step beds are good I would be interested in 1 or both depending on price .Want the better of the two for sure. Have a son that lives in Easley. SC. so a road trip would work out just fine. Let me know what you decide.

Re: stepside to fleetside
that sounds good. out of these 2 swb stepsides i'm picking up and the 1 lwb that i currently have, i plan to end up with one 1972 swb fleetside. everything else is going to be sold off either parts or whole. i'm trying to balance out my cost with the finished product. i don't have pics yet but they are on the way.
