rag joint & shocks

Going to replace the rag joint tomorrow. Any tips or tricks I need to know before I start ????

Only place I could find one online was from Advance for $30. Seems like a fair price, but I'm suprised I couldn't find it at NAPA or Autozone to compare !!!!

Also gonna put on new shocks. Just want a reliable "low cost" shock,,,,,,monroe or gabriel ?????

DEFINATELY Monroe or NAPA...Same shock. NAPA has a cheap line called response. It is decent. For some more money, the Sensa-tracs are great shocks.

I assume this is a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive?

BTW, hi neighbor. A little cold and snowing at your house?
