Will This Radio Work?

Bought this radio at a recent swap meet here in Nashville. Thought it would
fit my 69 C10 pickup...but now I'm not so sure. Do I need some special mounting hardware?
Here's the pic...thanks!

Re: Will This Radio Work?

knobs look more like the car radio. If so then the face might be a little big for the truck. I found an AM/FM that was from a Camaro that looked close, but the dash was cut. Got $380 for the radio though!

Re: Will This Radio Work?

I guess what I really need to know is...What kind of hardware
do I need to mount this to the dash? In particular...is there some special
hardware that attaches to the radio shafts that hold the radio in
place?

Yes, they go behind the knobs. Teeitup had them for sale, but I think Ricks trucks bought them.

Seems like that brass nut you have holds these retainers in to the dash hole.

Check with them 'cause I only have one set... J.

Re: Will This Radio Work?

check with any place that sells radios. There are thin nuts that spin on the shaft to secure it to the dash, it also secures under the dash in the rear due to the weight. Does it fit in the hole is my question...
