Help!!! Need a phone #
I'm new to the site, and I'm trying to track down any information that I can about restoring an 1957 GMC short wheel base step side P/U. Someone on a chat gave me a phone # to call and order an owners manual, ect. Unfortunately, I lost that #. Please Help if you have any info. I would like to find out as much as I can about this vehicle so I can put it back to OEM.

Sounds like your talking about the
1-800-222-1020 chevy resto pack It's through Chevrolet and they send you all sorts of stuff that helps you restore your truck for free. All you have to give them is the serial# of your truck. It has a reproduction manual and lots of references to vendors. It's a nice gesture. You could probably get the info plus more on Stovebolt.com But if you want to know some people who care more for what is cool about these trucks than restoring them back to original condition you have stumbled into the right place. Welcome

dude,
go to oldcarmanual.com. they have many complete service / shop manuals, body manuals, owners manuals, etc on the site compete for many many vehicles! no pay - just peruse! i have copied (i know i'm a baaad bunny!) serveral pages of the shop manual for my truck and it is priceless in figuring out some of the body assembles, how to adjust doors, etc. |
