GM Laserdisc inquiry

Can whoever contributed to the Laserdisc conversion please PM me your current mailing address. I have a list of contributors, but seem to be missing one or two...and I want to verify that the address I have on record is still current.

I managed to get one more converted and on DVD, but still having problems wit the last one.

Thanks!!

Re: GM Laserdisc inquiry

Its been awhile but I think I may have been. I've not been on the boards near as much lately from about Oct to now. Pretty much not at all until last few weeks and even then its not very much. I vaguely remember something about a laserdisc thing.

Re: GM Laserdisc inquiry

OK guys, the '85 DVD went out this afternoon, you should see them in the next couple days...for the Canadian and Finland fellas (Russ and Vile), it will be about a week or so.

I sent one to everyone who got one last time. If I missed anyone, please PM me and let me know.

Oh, FYI...the DVD played fine on my newer DVD player and PC, but did not play in my older DVD player...hopefully all of you won't have any problems.

They are dealer promotional disc, used to train the salesman on the new model trucks.

There was a bunch of us who went in on this a long time ago...but it has been a slow and painful process getting the laserdisc converted to DVD.

I am just now catching up with my promise of getting them to those who contributed.

I still have one more to get converted and sent out, the '84 one. Once that is done, we'll see what happens. I may end up selling them on 73-87.com, just to help pay the operating cost and what not. I will keep those of you in mind...perhaps PM me if interested and I can put together a list should I do this.

On the shipped DVD's...

Glad you guys got them, and were able to play them just fine. Wasn't the Baja truck in the beginning neat!
