I know this is probally an odd question. I am wanting to re-do my bench seat in the 69 c10. How many yards of fabric do you guys think Id need to redo the seat?

I "think" it takes about 4 yards.That should leave a little over.The real way to do it is ask the upholsterer.If you plan on doing it yourself you may want more so you can do the door panels and possibly the dash pad too.I keep looking for an upholstry class near me that fits my schedule.I think it would save me lots but then I would like to do the same with a body class.

Yea it would be nice to be able to take a few classes and learn a bit more about everything. Never was taught much cars, I know just enough to get myself in to trouble

I bought the "Cheap" black seat cover from LMC for under $100 I believe. It is a stock '72 pattern, which was ok with me as my truck was a '72, but would also work for you. I stripped the old cover off, added acouple small pieces of foam over the original on the drivers side as alot of rears sitting there had made an impression
 Put the cover in the sun for awhile, then started in the back with the hog rings, and worked my way from the middle out on both the bottom and top. For never doing it before mine came out nice. Sure loads better than those slip on covers!
