lifted 2wd truck
saw this truck sitting by an auction I deliver to. It is a 2wd but it is lifted enough to clear these 35 inch tires. The rear leaves look stock without an add-a-leaf and the front suspension looks stock too. I"m guessing he changed the front coils, but what can you do to lift it enough to clear that size tire?

Re: lifted 2wd truck
You can rearch leafs to get the lift, or maybe put 3/4 ton springs on a 1/2 ton truck??
I can't tell by picture, but maybe a body lift?

Re: lifted 2wd truck
Looks like if he tried to drive up that curb it would rub his tires.

Re: lifted 2wd truck
I bet he squeezed them under the truck and they rub every time he turns the wheel....

Re: lifted 2wd truck
Just because they fit under the truck, doesn't make them practical or useable ... they dont leave room for articulation or suspension travel..
I dont think there is a body lift because you cant see the frame rails from the side... |
