This might be a dumb question, but why didn't you take off the top to prime it. Are you not painting the bed rails?

Toyota wheels make good paint rags...lol The reason that I etch primed it befor I took the top off is because my panel set too long in bare steel and a warm front came in. It cause the panel to sweat and I couldn't wipe the water off fast enough to keep it from rusting. The Blazer will now go onto a trailer and the inside, firewall, top of bed rails, and any other spots that haven't been done yet will get soda blasted. WES

Wes,you said to notice the door windows,I assume the blazer came with no top originally?So it was a fairly low optioned truck.Since it had no door window componets were there delete plates for all that?

Thanks again guys. There wasn't any top of the door delete plates if that is what you are talking about. There were little tubes that were incerted in both the front and back of the window chanel that used the original window channel screw holes. If you look also you will see a row of snaps on the top of the doors and tailgate. I can only presume that they were used in some way for the side windows in whatever top that it had at one time. WES
