Which Shaft For A Medium Trans?

I'm sure this question has been asked a zillion times before, but I can't find the answer, sooooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I am just getting back to building a 67 long fleetside, with a 400 engine, and the trans I have is a turbo 350, out of a 1979. I call it a medium tailshaft trans. About 8 inches long, I guess?

If memory serves me at all, (too old for memory), it's a two piece shaft????? Will I have to cut the driveshaft, or can a one piece be put in? Anybody have any old secrets as to which vehicle's driveshaft fit in with this combo?
