Re: Who is runnin a 9" or fab 9?
I put a 9" from an early Bronco in my truck. I went to that rear end because it is 8" narrower, so I can run very little backspacing on the rear wheels and still tuck. The Bronco 9" is a small bearing model, not the best for big hp I am told, but I don't have big hp yet, so I am going to run it as for awhile. Came with 3.55 gears, which is what my truck had stock, so no change there.

I got one of my rear wheels today so I got to test fit. It is exactly how I hoped it would be, about 1/4" from the inside of the beside when dumped.

Thanks! All the work of fitting that rear end was worth it when I hung that wheel. 20x10 with only 3" back spacing and the big fat lip with 315/35s.
