My custom kick panel speakers...(pics)

Well, they aren't finished yet, but I figured I'd share anyhow.
PLEASE - Excuse the unfinished firewall. I just recently went with the underdash A/C unit and haven't done anything about that yet.

They are made of MDF, and they are quite sturdy. I am planning on getting them covered in loop pile to match my carpet.

I will be able to make some templates from these for those interested.

The coolest thing is - dimmer switch is functional in factory location. Parking brake is functional in factory location. Both pull vents are functional (although the back side is hidden).

So, there you have, one more idea.

Oh they sound great.
I promise, they will blast you out of the truck. I have some Infinity 693.7i 6x9's under the seat, and they sound pretty good. These are Infinity 6012i 6-1/2's. All of it is running through an amp also under the seat. They now make shallow versions of these 6-1/2's that may work with the Custom Autosound kickpanels if you don't want to go through the trouble of fabbing your own.

I'd like a copy of the template when you have it.

Thanks

I'd also like to see a picture of your dash and instrument cluster. I can see the stereo is in a custom location and wonder what you have where the stereo sat originally. Nice work. From what I can see it looks great.

I also would like a template. I want to get my speakers out of the door where the PO put them and weld up the holes. I have 2 10" Speakers under my seat.
