tranny question

I have a 70 K20 4x4 with a big block and a stock man. 4 speed and stock transfer case. I want to change the tranny out to a auto overdrive unit and was wandering what kind of problems I may encounter and if the 700R4 would be a good choice.

Re: tranny question

700s are good when rebuilt properly. Other than crossmember and linkage, the rest is easy. With a 700 you would likely use a 208 transfercase. TC linkage will also need to be adapted to the floorpan.
