SWB bed price

I am just asking. I don't intend to sell this on the board because I certainly do not intend to ship it anywhere. If it is deemed inappropriate then please remove. My question is I have A complete short wide bed off my "70". It is fairly clean other than the right side. The right bed side is A little rough. I have A filler mounted in the left rear corner for A blazer tank, and the tank. I would like to put these in the local paper in the for sale add. What in the world should I ask for it??? It is OEM. Please just give me some Ideas. Thank You!!

Re: SWB bed price

I agree. But,alot depends on the floor condition. If it`s straight and no rust holes it would be worth double that.

Re: SWB bed price

I would say around $300, the bed floor definitely is warped.

Re: SWB bed price

Thank You for the reply's. The only thing I was thinking about was that an after market bed side (ONE) is $500. So A complete OEM bed plus blazer gas tank is only worth about $300. hummmmmmmmmmmmm.

Re: SWB bed price

You have to look at it like how much is someone willing to spend not only for the bed, but to fix it to make it look like a $2500 mail order bed. The bed fill might not be some people's cup of tea either. Ebay is a good option.

I imagine Idaho is like Colorado though. We're not exactly tripping over shortbeds around here.
