a HAcK for GrInCh...
In reference to KMK54's thread, Bored so I took some photos. Dial up beware...

I've 'played' with a couple of '81 up swb fleetsides. But, nothing really with what you have in mind. I tried a quick color change on one of my pics to maroon then black and was not satisfied with the color. It lost some of its' sheen and turned out a bit flat. Give some time, and when I get some time later this week (weekend), I'll give it a shot. BTW, we should 'bably start a new post to keep from jackin' KMK454's thread.

grinch -
I hacked a pic for you. It didn't come out to well since I had to piecemilled a few pics to get this one. (I couldn't find a decent pic as a base.) I ran out of time before I could match the colors and clean up the chop. But, here it is. I tried to get you a black version, but it lost it's sheen and some of the body lines. Since I took the liberty of adding some things to the truck (and the background), those can be eliminated or changed out. What other ideas (wheels, stance, ...) did you have in mind?

Thanks for the kind words, guys...
With all the latest and modern paint tech, I decided to make it 'pop' a bit.
