383 stroker or blower

Can anyone tell me whether I should spend the money on a 383 stroker or install a blower on my 67 c-10 w/ 350/ 30 over? It's a daily driver I've fixed up (sorry no pics/ no camera) and I want to have power/torque and the ability to rip it up at times. Whadaya think?

Re: 383 stroker or blower

Well My personal opinion is the 383. I have always liked the power of them. But then again a Blower i mean wow. Whatever you put a blower on is gonna be cool. Even A little rice rocket. But I would still go with the 383. hope that helps.

Re: 383 stroker or blower

Thanks everyone. Seems the consensus so far for a daily driver is the 383stroker; that's the way I was leaning but needed some expert opinions. I agree with the WOW factor of a blower, but right now, budget dictates so I can only do one or the other. Keep on 'truckin'!!

Re: 383 stroker or blower

one thing with the blower : you can have it make more or less power when needed just by chainging pulleys and retune the carbs

Re: 383 stroker or blower

Best bang for the buck will be the stroker. Smeding Performance has a 383 setup for around $3800 with warranty.
