Sandblasted Bed

Just got the hawaiianblue72 bed sandblasted at Wall's Industrial services in Glasford IL. The bed was in pretty good shape and not much body filler on it. They did a good job on my bumper so my bodyman and I decided to have them do the bed. I have new wheel wells, tailgate and a front bed panel with the Chevy Bowtie on it to go on the bed. I also bought a bed repair panel to fix the bad spots on the back part of the bed. Can't wait to start driving hawaiianblue72 again. I'll post some pics so you can see the progress. Check out Walls at http://www.wallsind.com/ nice guy runs the place George Wall.

Happy New Year Chevy Truck Fans!

Re: Sandblasted Bed

I have the exact same rust holes in the rear of my bed deck...right in front of the tail gate. I would love to see how you repair these holes.

Cheers,

Tim

Re: Sandblasted Bed

I will post some pics as soon as we get them welded in. I bought the panels to fix the holes from LMC truck parts. http://www.lmctruck.com/

Re: Sandblasted Bed

It's getting closer to being done. I stopped by today and he had the glass in the doors and it's looking good. I didn't have my camera with me or I would post some more pics. I'll have more pics soon. hawaiianblue72

Re: Sandblasted Bed

Thats a beauty for around here in the rust belt! Mine is rusted in the same places, but with some nice holes around the wheel houses.

I,ve been looking looking for a replacement bumper like yours, Not easy to find around here. The only decent one I found, They wanted $450 firm at Super Chevy.

I guess I'm just a 50 dollar guy living in a 500 dollar world!
