Exhaust system in a 67 C10
I got a 1967 C10 with a 283 in there, i'm taking out that lil engine and putting in a 350. I'm looking for exhaust systems and i cant seem to find one that will fit a 350 in a 1967, only in 1969 and up, so my question is this, Are the 69' and 67' c10's close enough to put the exhaust system that fits 69's and up into a 67'?

Re: Exhaust system in a 67 C10
I would assume the 69 kit would work. Or you could do what I did: Buy some mufflers you like and go to a local muffler shop and have them custom make you a system. I bought a pair of Ravin mufflers for $30 and had a custom dual system w/ an H pipe using 2 1/4" pipe installed for $150. The work was excellent and the mufflers sound awesome.

Re: Exhaust system in a 67 C10
THe problem here is two things. First off, the 350ci V8 was not offered in trucks UNTIL 1969 (actually I don't think it even came out til 69).
Second, the 1969-1972 Chevy trucks had leaf springs in the rear whereas the 67-68 had rear coils. SOmething tells me, that if you bolt up that 69 exhaust setup to a 67, you'll run into a problem like that. My advice? Order the exhaust for a 1967-68 Chevy truck with a 283 or a 327, it's the same thing. Only the cylinders inside are different (I think crankshafts are slightly different too, but what does that matter in this case?). Best of luck.
