Do I Paint It?

I have a new nodular iron balancer? Do I need to paint it? Will it rust if I dont?

Here is a pic of it.

Re: Do I Paint It?

Needs paint. Here is an idea so you can see the degree marks better. Spray the degree mark area with white paint. Take a rag with paint thinner and wipe the sprayed area clean leaving the white paint in the groves. After it dries spray the balancer with clear to keep it from rusting. Just a thought but it will need painted to keep it from rusting.
