Blazer top storage/hoist examples?

I would say that that setup is not NEARLY big enough for a Blazer top. The TJ of LJ tops are probably a 12 inches narrower & shorter at least. I'm telling ya', if you have a garage, just hang it by the rafters with some ATV straps. I did it that way for months at a time all the way through college.

Well, that doesn't really resolve the removal process. Additionally, I have read about guys on the board that stored their tops leaning against something and they warpped enough that they couldn't get them back on. I think setting it flat on something, whether the floor, a stand or suspended, is the best way to keep the top nice.

The PO of mine stored the top leaning against a wall of a garage. The first time I put it on it took all afternoon and I had to use rachett straps to pull it in different directions to get the bolt holes to line up. Obviously warped a bit. I stored it very similar to the set up bouncy uses this summer and the top went on fairly easy this winter.

well, i just received the hoist i ordered from harbor freight, the 880lb one just like bobbyk's. i'm still not sure yet exactly how i'm going to mount it in the garage, but hopefully the rafters'll hold it.
