b454rat, that truck looks awesome. did you use the kit from ORU ?
how much lift is needed to clear 38,s on that body style? please give us some details. |

I have the ORU kit, got it when they only had 2 styles, and when the price was $750, not sure what it is now. In that pic it had 40" Gumbo mudders, 12" springs with the bottom two removed. The rear was 6" Procomps with a sh!tload of add-a-leafs, homemade shackle flip, and hangers off 73-87 4wd. I ran 38x12.5s with 6-7" lift, trimmed the fenders and the bumper. If your running the wider 38s, then gonna havta trim more. Here is a pic with skinny 38s.... http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2380...OB?vhost=rides And here with the same amount of lift, but with cutout flares, and 40" boggers 12" wide wheels. ![]() The tires rubbed big time, got a few shallow slices in the tires because of it. I lifted it some more, close to what it was in the other post. Need to take some pics of it.....
