Getting new speedo cable in?
I just got the old speedo out by pulling it out towards the engine compartment. How do I get the new one back in thru the seal? Also what do I lube the new cable with??

Re: Getting new speedo cable in?
Pull the grommet out of the firewall and first fish the cable through the grommet and then placed the grommet back in the firewall. The new cable should have came with a pasty lube.
I've tried a recommended dry graphite lube, but I haven't noticed a difference.

Re: Getting new speedo cable in?
I haven't bought the cable yet so I didn't realize about the prepackaged lube. I'll be sure and check for it. I heard about using the dry graphite too.
Thanks!
