65 frame swap
In restoring my 65 fleetside lwb, I noticed the front of the frame is bent. I found a 63 swb frame and plan on using it as I was planning on shortening the 65 lwb frame anyway. 63 and 65 chevy frames are the same, right?
Thanks. |

Re: 65 frame swap
Not sure but I thought the cab mounts are different between 63 and 65.

Re: 65 frame swap
I have a 65 LWB powder coated frame which is straight that I would sell cheap. I am 30 miles west of Fort Bragg NC.
PM me if interested. Steve |

Cab mounts are different between '60-'62 series and '63-'66 series, and it's only the front cab mounts. Last edited by thekid54; 03-02-2007 at 10:39 PM. |
