Looking For 69-70 4x4 Front Brake Drums

I'm posting this for a guy at my work. He has a1969 chevy 3/4 4x4 he bought brand new and does not want to change a thing on it from stock. So he is looking for a set or two of good front brake drums. He told me you can't buy them new any more. Please send price and Phone # so I can have him get in touch with ya. Thanx Dana

Re: Looking For 69-70 4x4 Front Brake Drums

I am in the process of converting my 69 3/4 ton 4x4 front drum to disk. I will be pulling the drums off this Sat. If they are in decent shape I will let you know.

Re: Looking For 69-70 4x4 Front Brake Drums

These are off my 67, I'll get them checked at the machine shop. If they are good I'm asking $20 + shipping. I also have a complete tie rod & Pitman arm to get rid of cheap.

Re: Looking For 69-70 4x4 Front Brake Drums

I'm just back from the machine shop. 1 drum is 12.035 and the other is 12.038, The difference accounts for the time I blew a brake line and it took 4 months to locate new lines before I could fix it. I had both drums turned when I put it back together, there are no ridges in these, just a little suface rust from sitting. The standard runout is .060 for GM drums so there is life left in these. I can ship UPS, FEDEX or US postal.
