How hard is it for the swap? what must be done to do this??

It's pretty straight forward, just looking at that needs to be done. I did mine, having never dont it before and it took me about 3 hrs, not bad for first time.

depends on what you are swaping into your truck, electrical hooksups might be different, length might be different, shifter linkage might be different, mounting plate might be different,

I know that it's easy to pull one out, I have to rebuild my tilt before installation though. Lots af variables to look at but it's not impossible. Lay them beside each other and compare....

Corkscrew - we need more input before we can give feedback. A picture of the column going in would help. As msgross points out lots of variables. Are you going to use the original mounting gasket and ring? Will the neutral safety/reverse switch fit and how about the wires? Is the turn signal wiring and terminal compatible with the cab wiring? What about tranmission linkage?

As to time - it takes me about 15 minutes to pull a column. Conversion may take another 20 minutes. I also like to change the steering wheel - about 5 minutes with a wheel puller. Installation and adjustment may take 30 minutes. So anywhere from an hour to all day.

what are the steps needed to remove the column??? like what do i take off at what time and such...

I disconnected my rag joint, firwall brackets, under dash brackets and pulled the whole thing (floor shift). I'm still at that point.....
