What did you get done this MONTH

Well it's been a little over a month since I purchased the truck, and I have stripped the inside to see if there is any hidden rust and pitched the fuel tank and carpet. But the big accomplishments were purchasing every thing that was missing on the truck including:

Air cleaner and spacer (actually 2 spacers for big block)
manifold heat stove, and pipe (actually 2 pipes)
the original carb(by Number)
the hand throttle
the storage box on bedside and door
the auxillary battery tray
the Big block A/C brackets
and a few other misc. original hoses.

Pocketbook is a bit lighter but I have a pretty good idea of everything needed to restore it to close to new condition so the body work can start.

I got my frame painted and sitting on the jackstands right side up. I also got a bench seat put in the cab (still gotta get that recovered). Trucks still in pieces though and the engine is still on the stand.

Got the EFI up and running. Added a 7 circuit fuseblock to run that and any upgrades in the future. I also put on an electric fan.

Re: What did you get done this MONTH

- Got new tires to go with the slotted rims I found at the junk yard
- Finally got the front end aligned
Had to spend $180.00 for a custom differential cover with drain and fill ports because some jiffy lube jerk stripped out the axel's fill plug
- Got a 4 bolt block and steel crank out of a C-50
- Chased a little dog around the house who swiped my keys after I dropped them.
- Kicked back with a beer
