Need opinions on Pro Comp Mud Terrains

Well,I was intending to buy BFGs but found some Pro Comp m/ts for sale. They are 315/75/R16. I assume they will fit on my 16x10s,will they?I dont know metric to wellAnyway they have about 5k miles on them and are in good shape. What do y'all think I should offer for all 4 of the tires?
Any negative things about them to be said,or good? How long do they last on the road, near 40-50k?,less?

Re: Need opinions on Pro Comp Mud Terrains

That metric size converts to 34.6 x 12.4 inches (basically a 35 x 12.50) it should be perfect on your 10" wheel....I have a buddy that ran a set of Pro Comp m/t's on a 87 'burb, he liked 'em. got about 40,000 on the highway and didn't make a lot of noise. I drove it on the Interstate up to 80mph for about 60 miles and it drove great, no roadwalking, but it did vibrate a bit probably due to balancing issues (he didn't want any ugly lead weights on his pretty rockcrusher wheels)

Re: Need opinions on Pro Comp Mud Terrains

I'm been running pro-comp's on my burb 30x10.50 MT'S bought them from a friend for 80 bucks, prolly had almost half the tread and been running for three years and no problems they have just a little roar but nothing to complain about,I just bought 4 33x12.50x15's AT's off of ebay for 545.97,free shipping, equals about 136.00 a tire not bad for that size.

No tire worth a damn offroad is quiet.It comes with the territory.I don`t understand everyone.That`s what I love about 4wds:Tires hummin`,suspension pouncin`,and exhaust rumblin`.It`s like dim lights,thick smoke,and loud loud music.That`s just a bar.

Re: Need opinions on Pro Comp Mud Terrains

34 is a good size for my shortbed with the 4/6" lift, somewhere in between a 33 and 35 so maybe there wont be any rubbing with them off road, like it will ever see the mud...

315/75x16 are the same as 12.50/35x16.I dont carewhat the actual conversion is metric to SAE.That`s just what they are.All actual measurements vary from tire design to tire design and mfgr to mfgr. They`re just 12.50/35s,plain and simple.

34,35s.... as long as I dont have to trim my fenders for them to go under the truck and not rub I will be happy.

Re: Need opinions on Pro Comp Mud Terrains

I hear ya.Just wanted to rub the technicality out of it.It`s plain and simple. If you found a deal, you`re 1/2 way there. They`d be better in mud than any All Terrain. And whatever M/T that may be better or whatever doesn`t really matter if you`re not selecting from the full field and paying full price. They`re difinately a good enough tire and as mentioned somewhere else, they`re good ol` Coopers.
