Hey guys, I was wondering if these are original mouldings. I can't recall seeing anyone else with them, and they look almost identical to the ones on my 91 Jimmy.

No, not original. Those are late model stuff as you have noted.

Thanks, thats what I was figuring. What do you guys think of these mouldings? Should I keep em, or replace them with the original style?

For the effort of removing then and installing the originals, those look fine.
Unless your going for the dead stock look.

The original clips are a better fit/install than the adhesive back kind IMO, if you do decide to go that route.

You could do either black or woodgrain style, either would be correct.

I choose black for mine.

I think it looks fine. Personally, I'd replace that grill before worrying about the side trim.

I hate those factory trim clips and decided to take the easy route when I reinstalled mine.
I use 3M's trim adhesive tape.This stuff is the Best in the Business.

It's been 4 years now and the trim is still tight to the body.

I`d leave the moulding until you mess with the body.
Looks like to have a drivetrain swapped from a newer 3/4t.
How the heck did the grille gey mashed with that brush guard there?Someone must have dropped the motor on it or something.
I remember when you first showed it here...now that I see your other pictures.

I have the same side mouldings on my K5. Way cheaper than buying original stuff, and most people don't even notice.
