Need a little help with VIN & Model #

Hey guys I have a 1971 GMC 3/4T 4x4 that has been in the family since new. It has been sitting for about 10 years after my dad used it around the farm the 20 years before that. I'm thinking about restoring it and need help deciphering all the codes. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

VIN - KE234-S118668 (From drivers side door jam...not sure if the 1's are 1's or I's)

Model # - KE25934 (From glove box door)

Thanks in advance

That VIN decoder is for a chevy, GMC doesn't match up. Rod is a GMC VIN guru, all I really see there is a V-8 4X4 truck built in St luis

Did you get an owner's manual with it? They have one in there.

Re: Need a little help with VIN & Model #

The Models simple to decode.
KE25934
K = 4x4
E= eight cyl
2 = 3/4 ton
59 = 54 inches, cab to rear axle
34 = wideside/fleetside box

KE234-S118668
As for the vin its fairly easy too

K= 4x4 conventional body
E= eight cyl
2 = 3/4 ton
34 = pickup box body
- = state code if applicable, otherwise it just dash, as in this case
S = St. Louis assembly plant
1 = 1971
18668 is the sequence number of the total vin
