Look what I drug home today.

LOL...you probably thought it was another truck. I have one panel, two burbs three pickups and enough extra parts to keep me busy a long time, but this was such a smoking good deal I had to get it. Ive already tarped it up real good and packed it away in the barn. Its a 58 F-word in case you are curious.

You one sick puppy...LOL!

Dang...I really like your tow rig! What wheel width and tire size are you running? I've still got your dash, too.

Very cool! I love old wagons. I have a 1960 Chevy wagon. Your truck looks great too!! Great stance, wheels and tires!

Re: Look what I drug home today.

Lmao...now that is funny. Hey you know you are pretty good at that photoshop stuff..ever consider doing it for a living?

Mike I took the day off to take my sons car to the dealer for repair and to pic up this wagon. Wheels are 15x8 tires are 33 12.5 15's. You can drop that dash off anytime

When I first put that truck together, 10 years or so ago, (no, its not finished yet lol) my sons said it sits funny. I told em it sits mean. They have since changed their minds.

Re: Look what I drug home today.

I think it sits higher now with that thing in the back!

You know, my whole family have always been Ford people. We have a 57 or 58 area Country Squire wagon (that sound right? I'm not much of a Ford guy, except with Mustangs) out at our farm, along with some other old Fords. One of my two brothers was the only one that wasn't a Ford guy... he must've set me right, or something.

The guy I purchased it from bought it as nice running driving stocker. As you can see he totally stripped it down to nothing. All the metal has been media blasted. There is very little rust, way less than my panel has. It also has a bunch of new window seals and stuff he tossed in. Like alot of us, things change, and he changed his mind about the project. He sold the motor and tranny to a buddy of his. I bought the rest. I have another trailer load (he has an extra frame for me) and all the rest of the parts, and then some =). If I ever get around to doing something with it I dont think I will post a build thread here

Oh and as far as build...late 50s to early 60s style mild custom. Probably with a 460/C6/GearVendors overdrive

How bout' a pair of retractable hdtps? I will go take a pic of them this afternoon and post em up

*edit* here's a pic of one of them(sorry for the pic quality, it was almost dark). The other one is behind the building in BAD shape... This one isn't too bad but has still been sitting for a while.
