Re: 6/8 drop

I think 3" springs + 3" spindles in the front with stiff shocks and 6" springs + 2" blocks + CPP notch in the back would be *****in! I almost wish I didn;t cut up the back of my truck and done this instead of airbags and stuff...

Re: 6/8 drop

Hey i went thru all my old receipts today, sorry the c notch is a mcgauphys it it cost me bout 60 bucks for the bolt in on and then i welded around it also.

The 6/7 drop rides fine. a little siff, and it isnt not lincoln but i mean none of these old trucks are. i used to have a 88 iroc camaro it rides about the same. no bottoming out problems either.

Re: 6/8 drop

Front: 3" spindles w/1 coil cut from stock 6cyl springs, 1.25" 1-ton sway bar w/urethane bushings w/no frame extensions (stanchions)
Rear: 2600# bags, 1.5" blocks, c-notch, re-located/modified stock shock brackets, adj. track-bar

Exhaust was tucked up as high as possible to the frame . . ....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 6/8 drop

here is my truck before and i wanted it lower

so i went 5 inch springs with 3 inch blocks in the back and custom c notch

and 21/2 inch drop spindles with 3 inch spring in the front.

so now i got your hopes up and no i havent put the bed or the front clip back on yet but it will be soon however, my lower control arms are plenty high from the ground in the front and rear of the truck and i am going to run my exhaust though the crossmenber which i cut 4 inch holes in and the only thing i might catch on some things is my longtubes but i think im going to swap them to a mid.
