anyone goin to Portland swapmeet have recomendations for hotels? Seems the rooms are booked in the area.

stay out in Gresham or Vancouver.. They are both 15 minutes away and its out of the "hood" which is where you would be staying if you got your closest hotel.

There is 3 Red Lions within 5 minutes of the expo center, did you check them out? 1 is the Red Lion at Jantzen beach, another one is directly across the river Vancouver, the Red Lion at the Quay (pronounced "Key" There is also a brand new Hilton Hotel in downtown Vancouver that would be about 6 minutes from the expo center (the swap meet location) if you need any more info feel free to pm me & i can help.
