ccs132a
The added C is a 72 thing...it means Chevy. If it was a GMC, it would be a T So you have; C Chevy C2 wheel drive S inline 6 1 1/2 ton 3 i can't remember what 3 is... cab chassis maybe? (does it have a bed on it? 2 1972 A built in Atlanta Here is our VIN decoder http://67-72chevytrucks.com/Chevyear.html |

thanks longhorn.just picked the truck up today, along with a 70 step side.the 72 is in preety bad shape, not sure if it's worth fixin..have complete floor to get it done.just never seen cab lights and shift on floor in 1/2 ton, also has radio delete.would like to know if it is some special model...cab is not round where cab lights are,has slight risen flat surface..weird...thanks ..

Re: need help with vin#
clearance lights were uncommon, but not unheard of on a 1/2 ton, 4 speeds, not uncommon at all. The raised pads you mention, that ensures the lights were on that truck from day one.
