Re: Dual exhaust

When you say deep I believe Flowmaster is tops in that department. Magnaflows are suppose to flow better because of the straight through design. Magnaflows to me are the best TURBO muffler. Flowmaster and Hookers aero chambers are chambered mufflers. They are throaty and deep, but have a drone sound inside the cab(flowmaster40's/Hookers). I think the drone is only really noticeable if the mufflers are dumped under the vehicle, but thats the deepest and best sound to me. I have Flowmasters on my 84SWB, and Magnaflows on my 85LWB. Both of the systems are dumped in front of the rearend. Hookers have a deep throaty sound and are the cheapest of the three I listed. I had them on my first 84 LWB(stolen) and they were dumped, as well. I think the lack of sound-absorbing material in the Flowmaster and Hookers create the drone heard inside the cab.
